The Civil Aviation Department (CAD) is the civil aviation authority of Hong Kong. Apart from the regulatory role in aviation safety, the CAD also provides air navigation services for the flights at the Hong Kong International Airport and in the Hong Kong Flight Information Region. CAD also works collaboratively with the international, regional and local aviation industry to promote aviation development. It reports to the Transport and Logistics Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government.
